Questions sellers ask us
Does AWDstore take a percentage of my sales?
No. You pay a flat monthly plan fee. Your payment gateway (PayFast or Yoco) charges its own standard fees, and EFT payments cost you nothing extra.
Who holds the money when a customer pays?
You do. Payments go straight into your own PayFast or Yoco account, or your bank account for EFT. AWDstore never touches buyer funds.
Do I need a PayFast or Yoco account?
Not to start. You can sell with EFT only and add PayFast or Yoco whenever you're ready.
What happens after the free trial?
Your 14-day trial includes everything on your plan. Before it ends, subscribe from the Billing page to keep your store online. If you don't, your store is paused, never deleted.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, on the Business and Managed plans. Every store also gets a free yourshop.awdstore.co.za address with HTTPS.
Do my customers need to create an account?
No. Buyers check out as guests with their email and phone number, and get order updates by email.
Can I change plans later?
Any time, from your Billing page. Upgrades apply immediately. If you downgrade, nothing is deleted: you just can't add more than the new plan allows.
